Troubleshooting Battery Issues (M5 Display)
1. There are issues with the battery's VOL (battery voltage) and ODO (riding mileage).
Please follow the following 3 steps and take photos as instructed below to send to our support team at ebyccous@gmail.com for confirmation:
A. Fully charge the battery, take a picture of the "ODO" value. (see attached image⬇️⬇️⬇️).
Then press the "M" button twice to adjust to the "VOL" interface. Take photos of the VOL value and send it to us (see attached image⬇️⬇️⬇️).
If the battery voltage is only around 40V after being fully charged, it indicates that the battery is defective and cannot hold a full charge.
B. Test the riding range. Ride until there is only 1 bar power left, then take photos of the VOL and ODO again (to test the mileage from full charge to empty power). (see attached image⬇️⬇️⬇️).
C. Take a photo of the battery label and send it to us. (see attached image⬇️⬇️⬇️).
Please follow the above steps and take 5 pictures( for us to check and confirm the battery problem.
- ODO value when the battery is fully charged;
- VOL value when the battery is fully charged;
- ODO value when 1 bar of battery power remains;
- ODO value when 1 bar of battery power remains;
- The battery label on the battery
Please send pictures to ebyccous@gmail.com. We will check and give you solution within 24 hours.😊😊😊
2. Other battery issues you may have:
①The battery does not respond when charging, and the indicator light on the battery is not on, indicating a defective battery.
Please contact us at ebyccous@gmail.com and provide us with a video for confirmation.
②The ebike powers on normally, but display shuts off and the screen goes black when under load.
(For example, powers on normally but shuts off when applying throttle, or operates fine at low speeds but shuts off when exceeding 25km/h), indicating a faulty battery that needs to be replaced.
